Out of the mouth of babes...

Today I was moved by the testimonies of a few little people from church. The following includes what I remeber from one little boy's testimony: "I would like to bear my testimony that I know this church is true, and that Heavenly Father answers our prayers. This last week my mom has been gone helping my sister move in with my other sister. When she left we were all worried about whether or not we would survive. My dad has been pretty much useless. He has a hurt back. I noticed that on the nights where we prayed as a family things went well. My dad's back would not hurt so much. I know Heavenly Father helped us when our mom was gone." Although at the time it was hard to get much out of his testimony especially after he called his dad useless I realized what a wonderful little family this must be to be teaching their children at such a young age. Later his dad did get up and bear his testimony: " I felt like I had to get up here and follow the great example set by my children. I so much appreciate (son's) great endorsement and confidence that all would be okay when (mom) left..." I am still giggling about the many things that we learn in church. I hope one day we will have done good enough parenting to have our children humiliate us with such fond stories that have taught them faith.
